Carnelian is a very common stone that is a member of the agate family. It ranges in color from deep red-brown to vibrant oranges and is typically demi translucent. Widely sourced across the globe. Carnelian is known to have small micro crystalline “caves” inside specimens.
Metaphysical properties: Used in ancient times to help protect the dead as they moved across the planes from the living world to the afterlife and helps one to better understand the cycle of life. Carnelian gives courage, and stimulates creativity.
